About IC Labs, LLC in Southern Nevada

From their flagship location in Henderson, IC Labs has been providing Southern Nevadans with quick, easy, affordable access to rapid COVID-19 test results since 2020. We utilize antigen, RT-PCR, Molecular, and NAAT tests authorized by the FDA under an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for use by authorized laboratories.

In 2022, we began adding other respiratory illness tests for the flu, RSV and strep, all with results that are delivered in a matter of minutes. We continue the goal of empowering patients in their medical testing decisions into 2023 by adding wellness tests like H. pylori, UTI and lipid panel tests.

In 2023, we added autonomic function testing. Utilizing technology exclusively available in Las Vegas through IC Labs, we began offering testing to diagnose a range of conditions including COVID-19 vaccine damage and long COVID, pinpoint the causes for syncope (fainting), arrythmias, seizures, neuropathy and more, and monitor the progression of diabetes, autoimmune disorders, anxiety and depression, hypertension and other heart conditions.

The laboratory meets the requirements to perform waived complexity tests under the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments of 1988 (CLIA), 42 U.S.C. §263a. Our rapid COVID-19 tests are authorized for use at the Point of Care (POC), i.e., in patient care settings operating under a CLIA Certificate of Waiver, Certificate of Compliance, or Certificate of Accreditation.

IC Labs is licensed by the State of Nevada as an Exempt Laboratory and by CLIA. Our license numbers are listed below. It is run by Carolyn Matzinger, M.D., Medical/Laboratory Director, and Isaac Farrell, PhD, Operations Manager.
