ANS+ Autonomic Testing with Next Day Results – $399 $199 Limited Time Only

Autonomic testing is a type of medical evaluation that focuses on the functioning of the autonomic nervous system. The autonomic nervous system is responsible for regulating numerous bodily functions, including heart rate, blood pressure, respiration, digestion, and temperature control. ANS+ testing can be used to diagnose a range of conditions including Long COVID and COVID-19 vaccine damage, pinpoint the causes for some conditions, and monitor the progression of certain chronic or progressive diseases.

Diagnose

Autonomic testing can help to diagnose a range of conditions, such as long COVID, COVID-19 vaccine damage, dysautonomia, various types of neuropathy, Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD), heart or circulatory problems, and more.

Pinpoint Causes

Autonomic testing can also pinpoint the causes for syncope (fainting), arrhythmias, seizures, neuropathy and more.

Monitor Disease Progression

Autonomic testing can be an important tool to monitor disease progression and provide insights into treatments to slow or halt disease progression and maintain quality of life for those living with chronic or progressive diseases and conditions like diabetes, autoimmune disorders, anxiety and depression, hypertension and other heart conditions.

The Importance of Your Autonomic Nervous System

The autonomic nervous system (ANS) is a complex network of nerves that controls many of the body’s vital functions, including heart rate, blood pressure, respiration, digestion, and temperature regulation. It is responsible for regulating these functions automatically, without conscious effort. The autonomic nervous system is divided into two main branches: the sympathetic nervous system and the parasympathetic nervous system.

The sympathetic nervous system is responsible for the “fight or flight” response, which prepares the body to respond to stressful situations. During this response, the heart rate increases, blood vessels constrict, and breathing becomes faster and shallower. Meanwhile, the parasympathetic nervous system is responsible for the “rest and digest” response, which promotes relaxation and digestion. During this response, the heart rate slows down, blood vessels dilate, and digestion increases.

A well-functioning autonomic nervous system is essential for good health. When there are problems with this system, it can lead to a range of symptoms and health issues. For example, if the sympathetic nervous system is overactive, it can cause high blood pressure, anxiety, and insomnia. Conversely, if the parasympathetic nervous system is overactive, it can cause low blood pressure, decreased heart rate, and digestive problems.

What is Autonomic Testing?

Autonomic testing can provide valuable insights into the functioning of your ANS and help physicians to diagnose and treat underlying conditions that may be affecting it. During autonomic testing, patients may undergo a variety of up to 39 different assessments in 3 different tests, depending on their specific symptoms and concerns. These tests can include Heart Rate Variability (HRV), blood pressure, Deep (Metronomic) Breathing, Reflex Tests (CARTs), tilt table, Bio Electrochemical Sweat Conductance (BEC), cardiovascular fitness, ankle-brachial index (ABI), Toe/Brachial Index (TBI) exam, arterial vascular assessment, blood circulatory status, cardiovagal innervation through the Valsalva maneuver, sudomotor, and more.

The results of these tests can help identify underlying health issues and develop treatment plans to address them.

Autonomic testing can provide valuable insights for patients who have any of the following symptoms:

  • Dizziness or fainting
  • Arrhythmias, rapid heartbeat or palpitations
  • High or low blood pressure
  • Nausea, diarrhea, constipation or digestive issues
  • Problems with temperature regulation
  • Pain
  • Numbness, tingling, or weakness
  • Problems with muscle control, coordination, and reflexes
  • Heat intolerance
  • Leaking urine, difficulty urinating, or urinating more than usual
  • Erectile dysfunction or vaginal dryness
  • Anxiety or depression
  • Any other unexplained symptoms

Snapshot from the Results Summary

Results reports are easy-to-read. At a glance, you can easily tell this patient’s sympathetic (fight or flight) responses are moderately activated and the ANS is unbalanced. Because this has activated the glands and organs that defend the body against attack, it explains why this patient is experiencing low energy.

Diagnose Long COVID and COVID-19 Vaccine Damage

Are your COVID symptoms lingering? Are you experiencing heart issues? IC Labs can detect issues arising from long COVID and COVID-19 vaccine damage.

If you had COVID or received the COVID-19 vaccine and have any of the following, you may have Long COVID or vaccine damage:

  • Fast-beating or pounding heart (also known as heart palpitations)
  • Chest pain
  • Fatigue or weakness
  • Dizziness when you stand up (lightheadedness)
  • Headache
  • Depression or anxiety
  • Digestive issues like nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, stomach pain or decreased appetite
  • Pins-and-needles feelings
  • Swelling of abdomen or extremities
  • Sleep problems

Identify Other Serious Health Conditions

IC Labs’ ANS+ testing can also pinpoint other serious health issues and diagnose hidden illnesses, sometimes even before you experience symptoms. Some of these diseases and conditions include:

  • Cardiovascular Autonomic Neuropathy (CAN)
  • Arterial stiffness (Arteriosclerosis)
